Borders!

I am currently working on the borders of Baltimore Garden.  Today as I sat and stitched, I realized that I am really going to miss working on this quilt. It has become like a best friend.  Do you ever feel that way about a project?  Thankfully, I plan to hand quilt this one, so there will be many more days where we will spend a lot of time together.

Three flowers on row 2 are not quite complete, so it looks like that is what I will work on today as the beautiful fall weather will leave us and the polar vortex sends us some very cold weather.  Another reason to stay inside and stitch!

    1. Yes, this is a large quilt 92x92 and it will probably be heavily quilted! So many more days of quilting will be involved!

  5. Wow - you are making those flowers so quickly. Hand stitching and visiting with her will be so nice this winter for you. Hope it doesn't get too chilly for you.

  7. Looks like you are moving right along with your stunning best friend. And to think before long you will be working your hand quilting magic on it.

It snowed here a little yesterday after temps of 60 on Monday. Sheesh.

  9. I really think the swags will make this quilt even more wonderful! Some projects I hate to end and others, I can not wait for the end. We've had 2 days of 71° weather. But, after last nights rain and wind, it is very cold. Loads of leaves down today. Guess there will be raking in my future.
