Bluebird of Happiness

 

 

 

I just finished this wall hanging. It was designed by Pat Sloan as a machine applique pattern. I decided to machine piece it. I then needleturn appliqued it, and hand quilted it. The background grid is a half inch grid. I really am happy with the way it turned out and think I am going to hang it in the foyer. I learned alot about needleturn applique doing this project.
