Santa # 9 in the hoop

I started Santa# 9 this week, it's been moving along quite nicely.  I did have to unpick a few stitches.  But now I am back on track to add a few more slow stitches today!

This is what our weather forcast looks like for this week so staying inside and stitching sounds like the best way to deal with this heat wave.

  1. and I thought we were going to be hot - we are listed in the 90's through July 24th and night about 75 - the A/C was on steady when I went to bed and woke up and it was 76 outside already - had to get outside quickly to get watering done of plants before it got hot - the humidity isn't too bad this morning.

  3. Oh my.... that is hot. Is it humid too? You solution to stay in and stitch sounds like a good one. Mr. Santa agrees.

    1. It's been unusually humid here this summer, but once it get to the upper 90s for a few days that humidity is pretty much gone. We also have a slight breeze most days when it's really hot so it helps. We make a daily trek to our community pool and then stay in for the afternoon

  4. My goodness, those are certainly HOT temperatures, just be quite draining, I imagine. Hope your snow man doesn't melt away in the heat. Its winter here where I live, so we have our heat pump running.

    1. I am looking forward to when our heat pump will run again! We have about three months of pretty hot weather but our winters are quite mild compared to the rest of the states. But for now it's nice to stay in the AC and put in some stitches

  8. Well hopefully the two days of 100+ are done for this week but I know more will be arriving as we approach August but at least I have my Santa's to work on inside in the AC.
