Here we are the 6th of September already! Where the does the time go? I did get my pieces cut out for the three pickledish blocks that I need to complete this month. I love the bright oranges and they look even more vibrant next to some black fabrics. Hopefully I can get going on these today I have a trip out of town planned for later this month so I really need to focus on my goals.
For inspiration, I will be heading over to Angela's blog to link up and see what others are doing with orange today! I hope you can join us.
The month has just begun. Plenty of time to make your blocks. Looks another beautiful block in the works.
ReplyDeleteEach month seems to come faster and faster. My goal for this month was to get them done in the first two weeks. So it looks like I will be in the sewing room this week.
DeleteThe orange fabrics look great already: good luck putting them together.
ReplyDeleteI know that orange is so much fun! I finished one block and hope to assemble the other two tomorrow morning. I do my best sewing early in the morning.
DeleteOh I can't wait to see these Carla! Each block has been prettier than the last, and I can almost taste them in orange!! Maybe Dreamsicle? LOL!!! I've got to hurry and get mine done too because I have a retreat and classes at the end of the month.
ReplyDeleteNow I am going to be drooling the whole time I am stitching! Have fun at your retreat!
DeleteYummy! Good luck on the goals.
ReplyDeleteI have made every other month so I just need to stay focused!
DeleteOkay! Decisions made. Nice tonal range in the orange fabrics. Lots of time to get the blocks together. Should be dramatic!
ReplyDeleteYeah that is my approach, plan, execute and enjoy! I agree I can't wait to see them done and I think I will have to lay out my blocks again haven't done that in a couple of months
DeleteBecause of you I've added Pickle Dish to my "To Do" list. Can hardly wait to see orange added to your quilt.
ReplyDeleteSally, so glad I could inspire you. I have really enjoyed making a quilt this way. Just three blocks a month, very doable. I can't wait to put this quilt together at the end of the year.
DeleteI look forward to seeing these blocks when you get them put together.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I was just thinking I need to lay them all out next week for a group photo! Three more months and this one will be ready to assemble.
DeleteYour fabrics are looking lovely together.
ReplyDeleteNot my usual thing but this an attempt to use some brighter fabrics from my stash. I love them with the black and whites.
DeleteOh that will be a terrific pickle dish-ey quilt, Carla. I have also added it to my list--am a little bit afraid of that curved section. ;--(((...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the orange pickledish blocks!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking those will be quite fabulous!
ReplyDeletePerfect for fall ... orange and black. I can't wait to see the orange pickle dish blocks!
ReplyDeleteOh boy... now I am thinking of creamsicles! Good luck on your goals.
