Progress

So what do you do when the groundhog says six more weeks of winter?  We could spend a lot of time getting mad about it.  The trouble is sometimes the more we dwell on something the more it bothers us.  So, I have immersed myself into my quilting projects.
Yesterday was so enjoyable basting hexies and I was able to finish side 3 of my hexie project.

    1. That is hard question, since I am not sure where I am going with this. Have a feeling this will turn into a a pretty good size quilt. I do intend to add a medallion block, I am thinking some that incorporates some applique.

    1. Pretty dreary here, with more chances of snow towards evening, but then the rest of the week is looking good, maybe we could enjoy a few spring like days.

    1. I agree black can make seeing things a bit hard. But it doesn't really matter that much with EPP. I guess I need to find a bright cheddar perle cotton to do the quilting. Something to think about anyway.

  7. It's cold here in Texas, but I'm not in the sewing room. I keep looking out the window hoping to see a snowflake....giggle.....not here. Love your hexie project!

    1. It is cold here in Arkansas too. We got several inches of that white stuff Friday, and are slotted for some tonight. Thankfully the first batch has melted for the most part. Looking forward to some 60 degree weather towards the end of the week.

    1. Thanks Hilda! Hope you are not in the heat or near the fires that some of Australia is enduring! We are suppose to warm up at the end of the week, but today it windy and cold with snow in the forecast. Sounds like a great night for watching the Olympics and some stitching.
