I saw your stocking, so beautiful. It reminded me a bit of crazy quilting! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI love Spring and Fall - to me they are the perfect seasons! Looking forward to seeing the progress on your tulip block.
ReplyDeleteYes, I love the seasons too, a reminder that each thing has its time!
DeleteThis is a great idea for stabilizing the pieces...thanks for showing it.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for linking up!
I find that the the paper helps to smooth the needleturned fabric, maybe because it stabilizes it like you said. It really doesn't take long to baste and I think it saves time in the end.
DeleteI gave in and ordered the book for this quilt. You inspired me! I am waiting for it to arrive.
ReplyDeleteYippee for you Karen! Hope you will have as much fun as I am having! I almost have another block done, so I will definitely make my goal of 13 finished this summer, but I have a feeling I will continue stitching thru the winter, it will be a nice little break from my hand quilting.
