I agree they would be great for a baby quilt. This one is lap size and has wool batting so it will be visiting my lap a lot, until the weather warms up.
Oh, the ruffle is a fun touch to a gorgeous quilt. I need to finish up my Floribunda now that I see yours. I need more blocks. I think I transposed the flower fabrics with the tone on tone in my blocks so mine will sure look different. I like the green. I used yellow.
Very pretty. The ruffle just adds the right zing to the quilt.
