Pumpkin Quilt

Today I am enclosing a picture of a quilt I did this last year. It is my fall quilt. I really enjoyed how the pumpkins really started looking like pumpkins once I hand quilted them. It is the first time I used a stencil to quilt an oak leaf vine around the border.

Christmas quilt

This is a Christmas quilt I finished just before Christmas. It is my first completely hand quilted quilt. I learned how to hand quilt a couple of years ago, but I finally feel my stitches are good enough to say I can hand quilt. I used to think that design was my favorite part of quilting but now I am not so sure. The hand quilting is very comforting experience.

After our children left home to follow their dreams, Tom and I adopted Max our Schnauzer from a young man who wanted to find him a good home. Everyone who knows us, wishes they could be Max the luckiest dog in the whole world!
